THAT for the West Vancouver 2014 general local election, in accordance with the Local Government Act section 41(1), S. Scholes, Manager, Legislative Services be appointed chief election officer and M. Panneton, Deputy Clerk be appointed deputy chief election officer; and that the chief election officer be authorized to enter into service agreements as may be necessary in respect of the 2014 general local election and general school election, with School District #45 (West Vancouver), Bowen Island Municipality, Village of Lions Bay, and Metro Vancouver (GVRD).

RECOMMENDED:
THAT for the West Vancouver 2014 general local election, in accordance with the Local Government Act section 41(1), S. Scholes, Manager, Legislative Services be appointed chief election officer and M. Panneton, Deputy Clerk be appointed deputy chief election officer; and that the chief election officer be authorized to enter into service agreements as may be necessary in respect of the 2014 general local election and general school election, with School District #45 (West Vancouver), Bowen Island Municipality, Village of Lions Bay, and Metro Vancouver (GVRD).
12.3. Development Permit Application No. 14-004 for 1583 Marine Drive (Shoppers Drug Mart) (File: 1010-20-14-004)
RECOMMENDED:
THAT proposed Development Permit No. 14-004 regarding 1583 Marine Drive, to allow for the construction of a new retail store with roof top parking, as described in the report dated August 20, 2014 from the Senior Community Planner, be considered at the October 6, 2014 Council meeting; and that the Municipal Clerk give notice of consideration of the proposed development permit.
